How FixOverexposed handles information when you use AI photo repair

FixOverexposed provides an AI-assisted repair service for overexposed photos. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit fixoverexposed.com (the "Service").
FixOverexposed AI is an account-backed service: when you choose it, the source is uploaded to private object storage for up to 24 hours and processed either by an authorised operator or the configured image provider. The corrected result is retained for up to 30 days so you can download it. The AI source and result are not public assets and are only available through authenticated, owner-checked routes.
For some AI fixes, an authorised FixOverexposed operator may manually process the image before the automatic API fallback begins. This means a human may view the uploaded image. Keep your original file separately. Pure-white clipped pixels cannot be recovered, and the preview is not a backup or a promise of source-detail restoration.
If you email us, we receive the address and message you choose to send. Our hosting provider may process ordinary request and security information such as an IP address, browser type, time, and requested URL in server logs.
The site uses browser storage to remember whether you dismissed the cookie notice. If you start FixOverexposed AI before signing in or while adding credits, the selected file may be held temporarily in IndexedDB on your device so the flow can resume after returning to the homepage; it is removed after it is read or after 24 hours. A locale preference may be stored if you change the language setting. FixOverexposed AI requires an account because it uses credits, private storage, and authenticated downloads.
We use contact messages to respond to you, request logs to operate and protect the site, and preference storage to remember your choices.
We do not sell the information described in this policy. Contact messages and routine hosting logs may be handled by the providers needed to run email and the website.
We retain source uploads for up to 24 hours and completed AI results for up to 30 days, unless an earlier deletion or a legal and security obligation applies. Manual processing and third-party AI providers may therefore handle an image during the repair window. Contact us if you want to ask about a message you sent or a privacy request.
AI uploads and results expire automatically; you can also delete a completed AI result from the authenticated product flow. You can decline to email us and can clear the site's local storage through your browser settings.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We may update this policy when the product or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
